A little about privacy.

This notice covers the Scarlet website at scarlet.audio. The app’s release documentation will describe its data handling before a public download is offered.

This site

The site has no account registration, mailing-list form, advertising, or analytics scripts. Fonts and visual assets are served with the site. Visiting this page does not give us access to your music library.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Its infrastructure processes request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and timestamps to deliver pages, maintain reliability, and protect against abuse. Cloudflare may use security cookies when protection features require them. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for more information.

Downloads and purchases

Direct-download builds can check downloads.scarlet.audio for signed updates. Automatic checks are off until you enable them. Update requests disclose your IP address and ordinary request information to Cloudflare; they do not upload your music, library, playlists, or listening history. System-profile submission and automatic update downloads are disabled. You choose when to download and install an available update.

Public downloads and purchasing are not available yet. We will update this notice when those services launch.
